About Us

Welcome to Anderson Elementary, home of the Rams! Our vision is to continue to develop and cultivate a school where students can express their need for help and the foundation of success is deeply rooted in trust and security. Building relationships is our focus.

Through our Reading Buddies program and strong Fine Arts department, we strive to involve all families in our students' academic and social development. Together with leadership from our Related Arts team, Anderson boasts a strong Tier I behavior program to celebrate and recognize all students for their exemplary conduct. The RAM way is our common language and approach. As Rams, we exude strength and courage. The RAM way of strength and courage is to serve others, portray empathy, and use challenges to develop character.

Anderson serves approximately 270 students in grades Pre-k through 5. According to the latest data from the Tennessee Department of Education, the student to teacher ratio is 10 to 1 with an emphasis on small student numbers in pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade.
