Anderson Robotics

On March 1st and 2nd of 2019, a Vex IQ Robotics team from Anderson Elementary traveled to Brentwood Academy in Brentwood Tennessee to compete against seventeen other schools from throughout the state. While the team did not come home with a trophy, they did return with some great stories and memories of an experience shared by a select few.

Tennessee Commissioner of Education, Dr. Penny Schwinn, stopped by Anderson, and one of the stops on her tour was to meet with the (amazing) Anderson Robotics Team.

Anderson Robotics participated in the Bristol Bots Tournament on January 19.  All teams worked very hard to prepare for this event, and put months of time into building, coding, and practicing with their robots. Way to go everyone!

One of Anderson's teams won one of the coveted "Teamwork" awards at the tournament.  This team will take their act on the road to the state Vex IQ competition in Nashville.

Congratulations go out to Coaches Justice and Cross and to all members of the Anderson Robotics Team.
